Forget the Gym: Get an Electric Bike

Not getting enough exercise? It’s a common feeling – we all realize this, yet so much gets in our way of actually working out. You see individuals packed into gymnasiums doing exercise, and consider : well, I have to travel to the gym, pay up my member’s fee, then lift some weights. It seems like too much trouble, can’t I do something that’s not going to waste my time – maybe something that’s actually useful?

Then you may consider bicycling, as cycling is a wonderful means to improve your health. You can cycle to work or to the shops, so it’s very useful. It’s also very cheap – there’s no fuel involved and the running costs are negligable. It’s also very “green”. And not forgetting the minor point of actually getting you in shape.

But lots of individuals are put off getting a push bike because it’s just TOO much exercise. As crazy as it may sound, consider that they might live in a hilly area, be aged or suffer from particular ailments that make bicycling too much effort for their abilities. Also for a few people, it’s not pragmatic pedaling to work simply because they sweat too much because of the efforts of bicycling.

Now it’s time to present e-bikes, or electric bikes. They give you a rest on the difficult slopes merely by turning your hand on the handlebar and allowing the electric motor take over – you don’t need to do any peddling then. Then when you’re ready to switch to manual, just pedal. So you get your moderate exercise and fresh air without breaking a sweat. E-bikes are also very cheap to run needing only a daily re-charge if you cycle around 15 to 22 miles per day, although most individuals require only a couple of re-charges a week as they’re not doing this kind of mileage. You can even buy side mirrors and indicators for your electric bike – like the Winnku Indicator and Mirror.

Nowdays the real cost of getting an e-bike have dropped in price, so you can find yourself saving a considerable amount of dosh on gym memberships, fuel, bus fares etc. by buying and regularly using an e-bike.
