Something You Absolutely Want to Learn about — Nicholas Bredimus
Originating in New Jersey, Mr Nicholas Bredimus looked at software, airlines, and hospitality together and revolutionized all three areas of business. This creative man has found work in a great many areas, from the designer home sector through the essentials of safety in the air and computer programs to save time and resources. You could have anticipated, mind you, that given his pedigree he was sure to rise to prominence. Drawn together from many nationalities, his family traces to Antiquity, with the maternal line predominantly German and Scottish. His father’s family, however, has its roots in England and Luxembourg, from where they subsequently came to the U.S. in the late nineteenth century. This determined spirit kept them pushing on subsequent to their arrival. Growing up one of seven siblings — three boys and four girls — Nicholas was blessed with a father employed as a mechanical design engineer, and a mother who worked as a nurse. He would live much of his life in townships across four states. What did he do to capitalize on his pedigree and schooling? He would swiftly embark on a string of high-powered jobs, all as part of huge airlines. Mr Nicholas Bredimus ascended to the position of Vice President with businesses like Republic Airlines, Trans World Airlines (TWA), and Hughes Airwest. Most important, however, is his effort as an inspired software architect working with the airline industry. He is best known for one project for US Airways, his airplane maintenance management programs which are now used by the majority of airlines. He would go on to examine making and recording bookings. For both air travel and hotels he developed software systems to offload much of the work required prior to automation. Following that came QuikTix, an automatic, networked approach to ticket sales which stands as a first.
Nicholas parlayed these successes into capacities unconnected to software development, and we should note that he continued to shine. In his own firm — Bredimus Systems — as a Division Manager with American Express, and as the first president of AMR Travel Services his record speaks for itself.
Having departed from the fields in which he first enjoyed success, his skills are, nevertheless, still in demand. At present, his creativity is on display in luxury class homes that feature some of the most advanced technologies on the market. Just further proof of just how much a laser targeted energy can actually do!
